Catering Companies in Dubai and Abu Dhabi with capability and willingness to supply schools should submit a food menu for approval to Dubai Municipality (DM) and / or Abu Dhabi Agriculture & Food Safety Authority (ADAFSA / ADFCA).

The submission for snacks, meals etc should include but is not limited to-

  • Food Category
  • Food Item Name
  • Brand Name
  • Common Ingredients
  • Actual Net Weight
  • Preparation Method
  • Allergens
  • Maximum Weight Limit
  • Total Fat in g / 100g
  • Sodium in mg / 100g
  • Saturated Fat in g / 100g
  • Total Sugar in g / 100g

The submission for beverages or liquids include but is not limited to-

  • Item Name
  • Brand Name
  • Ingredients
  • Serving Size / Net Weight
  • Fruit Juice Content percentage
  • Total Fats in g or ml per 100g / 100ml
  • Saturated Fat in g or ml per 100g / 100ml
  • Sodium in g or ml per 100g / 100ml
  • Total Sugar in g or ml per 100g / 100ml
